JUNIOR BEGINNER TENNIS PROGRAMS
All Red Ball, Orange Ball, Green Ball, & Middle School Clinic students must have a ​FREE "Beginner Lessons" Membership in order to participate!


LITTLE ACES: ​ Red Ball
(you must have a FREE Beginner Lessons
​Clinics Membership)

This class is for children aged 5-8. Red Ball tennis is an introduction to the sport and utilizes a smaller court and lower bouncing ball. We will work on developing hand-eye coordination, as well as the racquet skills needed to excel in the sport moving forward. Most importantly, we will focus on having FUN and getting the kids to love the sport! HOTSHOTS:   ​Orange Ball
(you must have a FREE Beginner Lessons
​Clinics Membership)

This class is for children aged 8-10. Once the teaching pros decide a student has become comfortable playing at the Red Ball level, he/she will graduate to Orange Ball. This is played on a larger court than Red Ball, but still smaller than a full-sized tennis court. It also utilizes a ball that will bounce higher than a Red Ball, but still lower than a Green Ball or traditional tennis ball.  Students in this class will work towards learning how to rally, play points and keep score. The monthly session rate is $14 times the number of class dates or $17 per class drop-in.   To find days and times for these classes view our "CLINICS, SEASON COURT TIMES, LEAGUES & LESSONS" Header in  our CourtReserve app.  Then choose   "List" or  "Categories" to find when the classes are offered.

FUTURE STARS: Green Ball
(you must have a FREE Beginner Lessons 
​Clinics Membership)

This class is for children aged 9-11. Once the teaching pros decide a student has become comfortable playing at the Orange Ball level, they will graduate to Green Ball. This is played on a full-sized tennis court and uses a ball very similar to a traditional yellow ball, but slightly lower bouncing. MIDDLE SCHOOL: Yellow Ball
(you must have a FREE Beginner Lessons Clinics Membership)

This class is for middle school aged players. Once the teaching pros decide a student has become comfortable playing at the Green Ball level, they will graduate to Yellow Ball. The students will now be using a full sized court, as well as a traditional tennis ball. JUNIOR ACADEMY TENNIS PROGRAMS
All Academy students must have a "​Junior Tennis" Membership in order to participate!
ACADEMY NEXT GEN: Middle School*
(you must have a
​Junior Tennis Membership)

This class is for middle school aged players. Once the teaching pros decide a student has graduated from the Middle School Clinic, they can participate in the Academy Next Gen class. Drills in this class are designed to focus more on technique development and basic strategies. ACADEMY INTERMEDIATE: High School*
(you must have a
​Junior Tennis Membership)

This class is for entry level high school players. Once the teaching pros decide a student is ready, they will advance into this group. Skills and strategies that will win players matches at the high school level will be the primary focus. More live ball drills and match play will start to be utilized.  ACADEMY TOURNAMENT ADVANCED* 
(you must have a
​Junior Tennis Membership)

Entry to this class requires permission from one of the teaching pros. This group is for juniors who expect to play multiple USTA junior tournaments per year, and play high level varsity on their high school teams. We will strive to work towards a disciplined, yet aggressive style of play. Utilization of live ball drills, match play and pressure situations will be the key focus. Many of the players in this group will strive to play college level tennis.  The monthly session rate is $30 times the number of class dates or

*A student’s age will not always determine what class they will be placed in.
The final decision will be left to that of the teaching pros and will be primarily based on the student’s level.
